Orbity (hereinafter referred to as "the App") is a learning application for engineers. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used.

2.1 Automatically Collected Information

• Device ID: To manage app usage, we automatically generate a device-specific identifier (UUID). This identifier does not personally identify individuals.
• Language Settings: We read your device's language settings to optimize the app's display language.

2.2 User-Provided Information

• Onboarding Information: When you first launch the app, we anonymously collect your learning goals, occupation, and selected course. This information is used only for statistical analysis to improve our service.
• Learning Progress Data: We store learning progress information such as completed chapters, stages, test results, and streaks on your device.

3. Where Information Is Stored

• On Device (Local Storage): Learning progress, device ID, and content cache are stored on your device.
• Supabase (Cloud Database): Onboarding information (learning goals, occupation, selected course) is stored anonymously on Supabase.

4. How We Use Information

• To provide app functionality (managing learning progress, delivering content)
• To improve our service (statistical analysis of which user attributes select which courses)
• For technical troubleshooting

5. Sharing Information with Third Parties

The App will not provide collected information to third parties except in the following cases:

• When user consent is obtained
• When required by law
• When entrusted to third-party services (Supabase) to the extent necessary to provide the service

6. Third-Party Services We Use

• Supabase: Backend database and storage service
• Expo: App development framework

7. Data Retention Period

• Data on device: Stored until the app is uninstalled
• Data on Supabase: Stored indefinitely for service improvement (anonymous data only)

8. Your Rights

• Data Deletion: You can reset your learning progress data from the app's settings screen. To delete all data on your device, uninstall the app.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
